Upload your spot to us and we, in turn, will caption it (i.e. create captions and insert them into the file), transcode to whatever format you require, and deliver the digital captioned file to you or your media partner (TV Station, 3rd Party, etc).
Subtitle, Transcode,
& Deliver
At SpotCaption, we can also create subtitles for your spot(s), embed the subtitles, transcode to whatever format your web player/streaming media service requires and deliver the subtitled file to you/your media partner.
Close-Caption Only
If you’re capable of embedding captions into your spot and transcoding to the required format, then all you need is a caption file! Upload a proxy video file to us and we’ll send you a caption file in a format compatible with your editing/media encoding system.
Subtitle Only
Web-based video players as well as streaming media services often require standalone subtitle files that get added to previously-encoded video files. Upload a proxy video file to us and we’ll provide you with a subtitle file compatible with your media player/streaming service.
Spot Transcode
& Deliver
Even if you don’t need captioning or subtitling, SpotCaption can still transcode your spot(s) into compatible formats for mobile streaming, web consumption or TV broadcast. Upon completion, we can send the spot(s) back to you, deliver directly to a TV station/media outlet or forward to a designated 3rd party.
Caption or Subtitle
File Conversion
SpotCaption can also convert your existing caption file(s) to one or multiple formats. If, for instance, you have an SCC file from a previous DVD project that you’d like to repurpose for a streaming application, our file conversion service is an option that saves you time and money over starting from scratch.
